* This six-story hotel has 125 soundproofed guestrooms. All are individually designed and feature antique-style décor with armchairs and tied-back curtains framing tall windows. White-metal sunscreens can be rolled down on the outside of the windows. Built-in closets with mirrored sliding doors have small safes with combination locks. And tiled, private bathrooms include hair dryers, shower/tub combinations, and overhead spotlights.

* Le Siecle : Set on the front of the hotel, with large windows and an outside terrace, Le Siecle overlooks the Promenade des Anglais and serves lunch and dinner on four intimate levels beneath glass ceiling-panels painted in Art Nouveau style. The extensive menu features classic Mediterranean dishes and selections with an Asian influence, such as Carpaccio of Japanese Marine-Radish with Szechwan Pepper.

* La Terrasse : Serving an alfresco hot-and-cold buffet breakfast each morning, La Terrasse also offers a bar open from mid-afternoon to late evening.
